music note lightsRegardless of having a white covering of snow, viewing holiday lights should always be on the list of activities. Watch as Rosewood’s entire facility lights up to the sounds and music of the holidays. Can’t get enough of it? Then it’s a good thing ‘Listen to the Lights’ is available from now ’til Jan. 2!

Performed and broadcast in real time at Lake Lawn Resort on Dec. 9 at 10:30 am, go early to partake of the breakfast buffet package that includes the show. Inspired by the true stories of former Wisconsin School for the Deaf students and based on ‘The Night Before Christmas’ by Clement C. Moore, attend the original production of ‘It Happened at WSD’, on Dec. 14 at 7 pm. See a fun twist on a holiday favorite, as edited by Nell Fleming, WSD staff member. Another holiday classic,  ‘The Nutcracker Suite Ballet’, will be performed by the Dance Factory, a local dance school, at Lake Lawn Resort, on Dec. 17 at 2 pm. Make a day of it, with the Champagne Brunch Buffet and Show option.

Looking for unique gifts and enjoy making things yourself? There’s plenty of time and several opportunities available to make one-of-a-kind gifts for the people on your gift giving list. Gifts in a jar is a tried and true favorite in creating something homemade and Aram Library will help you in making one on Dec 5 from 5:30 – 7 pm. There are two different options (spa experience or dessert delicacy) to choose from, with all the materials and directions provided. If painting is more your thing, experienced or not, check out these options:
