As Wisconsin has started reopening, many businesses in Delavan have taken great steps to protect their customers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you’re visiting our local restaurants and businesses this holiday weekend, help us promote personal and corporate responsibility by embracing safe practices. Our community’s health relies on all of us to make smart choices.
Here are five helpful tips from The Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services to keep your holiday weekend a safe one:
- Social Distance: Maintaining 6 feet of physical distance is still the best way to prevent spread of the virus.
- Monitor Your Health: Stay home if you have even one symptom, such as fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose.
- Mask Up: Wear cloth face coverings, especially when physical distancing is difficult to maintain.
- Call Ahead: If you’re planning to go out, call the restaurant or business and ask about their policies to help customers maintain physical distancing and how they’re monitoring employees’ health and hygiene.
From all of us at Visit Delavan and The Walworth County Department of Health and Human Service!s, have a safe and healthy 4th of July Holiday in Delavan
