Kickoff to Summer Event Sponsored by Aram Public Library
Join Aram Public Library and Delavan Parks & Recreation at Phoenix Park and celebrate the kick off to Summer Reading 2021 with an evening of fun! At the event you can sign up for the Summer Reading Program, adopt a new stuffed fuzzy friend, play some lawn games, and watch a movie in the park at the Cardboard Box Drive In! Enjoy demonstrations from Delavan’s own Transform Nation Fitness and Flying Dragons Martial Arts! See you in the Park, Friday June 11th, 6-8pm!
Movies In The Park: The Karate Kid
Bring the whole family to the Phoenix Park Bandshell Friday, June 11th, and enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars watching a movie on the cinema-sized screen. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs to get comfy. Feel free to bring your own snack, or grab some takeout from your favorite Downtown Delavan restaurant! This week’s movie is beloved 80’s coming of age movie The Karate Kid. Movies begin at dusk.
Panfish Tournament Hosted by Lakeside Bait and Tackle
Grab your fishing poles and head to Lakeside Bait & Tackle for the Summer Panfish Tournament, Saturday June 12th! Grab your fishing buddy and hit the water to see who can catch the most Panfish between 7am and 2pm. Winners will take home a $500 cash prize and all participants will be entered to win the Grand Prize Drawing at the event’s close.
